Job Description:

Regular Shift – 5 PM IST – 2 AM IST – Cab facility will be provided

Max CTC to be offered – 23 Lakhs (Please don’t process profiles who are having multiple offers)

Location – Any Trianz location  - Hyderabad , Bangalore , Chennai

We need an SME , who has solid hands on experience on all mandatory skills . candidate should be very good on basics and RCA (Root cause analysis) with good Comm skills. Candidate should be able to handle client escalations

DB2 Admin –

Mandatory Skills:

• Installation, administration, maintenance and tuning of DB2 Instances and Databases.
  • Perform the Fixpack upgrades to maintain the DB2 instances/databases with the latest code
  • Completes database backups and maintain the backup procedures as per the backup strategy.
  • Maintains database high availability
  • Maintain the database with regular reorg, runstats etc
  • Creates automation scripts to perform repetitive tasks and to ensure high data integrity.
  • Determines database management needs and recommends system upgrades as necessary.
  • Ensures that databases are restored in a timely and efficient manner in the event of system failures or on request basis.
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
  • Perform compliance related activities on regular basis
  • Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
  • Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

Job Description

Minimum of 8 - 10 Yrs of experience in DB2 administration Should be a subject matter expert Sound knowledge in Migration, patching, Upgrades Hands on experience in DB2 database management Solving critical technical P1 / P2 issues Good Communication skills Conduct client calls participate in RCA and CAB calls Good to have SAP skills knowledge Highly experienced in RCA skills
