Oracle DBA SME - Job Requirement:

• Expert on Oracle Database as an DBA
• Available to work in 24X7 capability.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Performance tuning
• Strong DBA skills and relevant working experience with Oracle Database 11g and 12c.
• Experience implementing high availability features of Oracle Database.
• Highly motivated to solve problems efficiently.
• Fast troubleshooting and resolution skills
• Experience with Enterprise Manager 11g/12c/13c is a plus.
• Strong Shell/Perl scripting skills are highly desired.
• Sharp technical troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of database lifecycle management
• Ability to manage escalated technical situations & develop action plans.
• Ability to spot proactive services that benefit of customer.
• Ability to automate heavy duty tasks.
• Ability to guide and train junior member
• Experience in data guard and replication
• Experience with PLSQL and SQL
• Experience with backup and recovery
• Experience with performance tuning
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with DBA and application teams
• Experience in DR
• Knowledge of Oracle DBA best practices (e.g., schema management, index optimization, and use of hints)
• Strong query and database tuning skills
• Capacity monitoring and management capabilities

Key Skills:

Oracle Database 11g/12c, Oracle RAC, Oracle data guard, OEM 13c, Shell/Perl scripting, Unix/ Linux

Experience – 7-10 years of experience with Oracle Database as an DBA
