- 7+ years of Linux administration (including RedHat, Centos)
- Development skills (Python, PHP, Perl or Java)
- Shell scripting (bash, Perl, AWK, SED, etc.).
- Storage administration (SAN/NAS)
- System monitoring (Zabbix, SNMP, Nagios, Zenoss, etc.)
- Virtualization technologies
- Configuration Management experience with Chef, Ansible or Puppet
- Continuous Integration experience with Jenkins
- Network administration, NFS, CIFS, Samba
- Network security (Firewall, IDS, IPS, endpoint)
- Experience with packaging systems to build custom VM images
- Docker / Kubernetes experience
- IP management, DNS administration, and hardening efforts.
- Build patching, upgrading and maintenance activities
