Role: Teradata Developer - Contractor
Exp: 5-8 yrs
Job Description:
Understand requirements and convert them to Teradata scripts using complex SQLs
Hands-on experience on Teradata database objects development
Extensive experience required on complex stored procedures/views/functions/macro/BTEQ Queries development.
Hands on knowledge expected on Tera data utilities (Fast Load, MultiLoad,TPUMP, FastExport,TPT)
Strong troubleshooting/problem analysis, performance tuning, analytical and resolution skills
Effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities in line with project needs on Teradata
Experience on data migration projects from MSSQL to Teradata is added advantage.
Should be comfortable with TSQL procedures.
Good understanding of data warehouse concepts and knowledge of Teradata retail data model
Good understanding of SDLC and agile processes
