Job Description:
Job Location – Hyderabad, INDIA
Position Type - Full-Time/Regular
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reliability and consistent quality of web service releases
- Develops and executes automated testing scripts and coordinate with a team of test engineers
- Ensures core software regression and a range of individual services/UI functionality is targeted each sprint using a test automation framework
- Researches and documents requirements, evaluates scenarios, and executes changes needed to respond to requirements
- Collaborates with the technical team and engineering groups as needed to ensure a quality software release
- Develop SQL scripts to populate test data
- Develop, maintain, and grow a suite of automated regression tests to exercise RESTful web services and browser-based client-side functionality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong consensus building, multi-tasking, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of test defect management/collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence
- Proficiency troubleshooting web page issues using browser based developer tools
- Experience with Continuous Delivery process and required test automation
- Provide input on go / no-go decisions for production releases
- Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous and verifiable
- Work with QA resources spread across different geographies
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of “Hands On” experience in Restful services testing using postman and automation (java)
- At least 2+ years of experience with selenium-java and all mandatory skills stated above
- Proficient with different testing automation frameworks
- Experience on bug tracking / Test management tools like JIRA
- Ability to manage concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
